I did various of letterpress prints at Hamilton Wood Type in Two Rivers, WI. It was during a 1.5 week workshop. I did many prints, including collaborative prints with other artists and/or residency artists.

Letterpress Print: This Is My Design

“This Is My Design” print was printed by me. I was inspired by popular culture, the television show, Hannibal, based on the book, Red Dragon. The arrangement and inking was to reflect the dynamic of Hannibal and Will’s relationship dynamic as well as the psychological aspects of both the T.V. series and book. The inking style in some areas are mimic as if it was a page torn out of a book. The arrangement of the type was a collaboration with Rebecca Krupsaw.

Letterpress Print: Winter Is Coming

This print is inspired by both the book and HBO T.V. series (popular culture), Game of Thrones. The inking is to mimic the saying, “Winter is coming” and blood splatter. There’s a certain technique I had taught myself with inking. This print was chosen to be hung by the owner of the museum.

“This Is My Design” print was printed by artist, Rebecca Krupsaw and I. The arrangement of the type was a collaboration with Rebecca Krupsaw. The inking style is to represent the chaotic psychological and traumatic experiences.

This design was a collaboration with Rebecca Krupsaw & I. Inking was done by Rebecca Krupsaw. Rebecca K. and I brainstormed together on type arrangement. We later gifted each other one of our own prints.

Letterpress Print: Hodgepodge of Art

This print is specifically to reflect being a multimodal/mixed media artist, but being able to execute both the creative and technical aspects of all artistry I produce from printmaking, graphic & web design, photography, illustration, textile, creative writing, and fine arts. I am not an artist who is only a master of one with many talents. I am a master at all of my talents.
